THREE candidates for Kericho senator were cleared by the IEBC on Monday and Tuesday to run in the March 7 by-election.

They are Bishop Daniel Tanui of the National Vision Party, Wycliffe Ngenoh Lessan of Maendeleo Development Party and Kanu’s Paul Sang.

The three met commissioners Moses Sunkuli and Mohammed Alawi at the IEBC offices in Kericho, where they received documents to take part in the by-election.

Sunkuli assured the candidates of a transparent poll.

He dispelled fears of rigging raised by some candidates.

“The election will be free and fair,” Sunkuli said.
