Governors on Tuesday surprised  their Council Chair Anne Waiguru with a cake and a banquet of flowers as she marked her 53rd birthday. 

The governors surprised Waiguru at the Council of Governors offices in Westlands after the county bosses held a meeting to discuss the ongoing doctor's strike.  

Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga handed Waiguru the colourful banquet of flowers. 

Waiguru cut her cake which she shared with fellow county bosses.

Other governors present were Bungoma's Kenneth Lusaka, Kisii's Simba Arati and Kisumu's Anyang' Nyong'o among others.
