NTSA revokes 64 Sacco licences

The vehicles ply the Nairobi to Western and Nyanza routes

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has revoked 64 sacco licenses.

In a statement seen by the Star on Thursday, the Authority advised the public against boarding the sacco vehicles. 

"Members of the Public are hereby advised not to board vehicles belonging to these Saccos/companies to avoid inconveniences," it said.

NTSA said the National Police Service (NPS) has since been advised to impound the vehicles belonging to the saccos or companies found operating following the revocation of their licences. 

The vehicles ply the Nairobi to Western and Nyanza routes.

Others operate within Nairobi and its environs and the central region.
