President William on Wednesday presided over the Kenya Defence Forces Recruits pass-out Parade.

The military ceremony was held at the Defence Forces Recruits Training School in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu.

Ruto acknowledged that even though their military career will be challenging, it will also be fulfilling.

"Henceforth you will begin to grow into your new career, always bearing in mind that millions of your countrymen and women count on your courage and integrity, skill and strength, discipline and commitment to protect our nation," he said.
