The Nairobi National Museum this weekend held a three-day art exhibition dubbed "The Affordable Art Show".
The exhibition which is in its 16th edition, had over 700 art pieces on display featuring more than 40 artists majoring in acrylic paintings, recycled art, Abstract, sculpture and metal artwork.
Some of the artists who had their pieces during the exhibition included, Dennis Ndegwa, Anthony Muya, Wanjohi Nyamu, Cyprian Kiswili, Gitamo Mokeira, James Mwesige, Jeremiah Matogo, and Paul Njihia, among others.
Artist Anthony Muya, one of the exhibitors, makes his artwork from waste materials he collects in dumpsites and along the roads.
These include scratch cards, metal pieces, plastics, and e-waste which pollute the environment.
His work highlights the beauty that emerges from recycled and waste materials.
