Kenya has recorded nine Covid-19 positive from a sample size of 2,236 collected in the last 24 hours.
The positivity rate is now at 0.4 per cent.
In a statement on Monday, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe said that from the cases, 5 are foreigners, and 4 are Kenyans.
Seven are males while the other two are females.
The youngest patient is a 14-year-old while the oldest is 56 years old.
Total confirmed positive cases are now 323,718 and cumulative tests so far conducted are 3,586,406.
In terms of County distribution; Nairobi recorded eight cases while Uasin Gishu recorded a single case.
The CS said that ten patients have recovered from the disease, 9 from the Home Based and Isolation Care Program and one from a health facility in the country.
This pushes the total recoveries to 317,919 of whom 264,892 are from the Home-Based Care, and Isolation program, while 53,027 are from various health facilities countrywide.
No patient has succumbed to the disease, therefore, the cumulative fatalities remain 5,649.
vaccination drive
As of April,24, a total of 17,871,145 vaccines had been administered across the country. Of these, 16,340,560 are doses administered to the adult population (18 years and above).
Another 1,233,817 are doses administered to those between 15 to 17 years while 296,768 are booster doses.
The total number of vaccines administered in the last 24 hours is 3,198 while the total number of people fully vaccinated in the last 24 hours is 2,215.
The proportion of adults fully vaccinated was 30.4 per cent.
The Government is working towards vaccinating a targeted population of 27,246,033.
A total of two patients are currently admitted in various health facilities countrywide, while 137 are under the Home-Based Isolation and Care program.
No patient is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
One patient is on supplemental oxygen and is in the general ward.
