New Zealand started the match strongly, dominating possession and territory to score three first half tries courtesy of Leroy Carter, Dylan Collier and Akulia Rokosiloa for a 19-0 lead at the interval

Shujaa came out blazing in the second half and were rewarded  for their efforts when skipper Nelson  Oyoo went over the whitewash for an unconverted try and reduce the scoreline to  19 -5

Shujaa were, however, unable to make use of possession thereafter and twice kicked the ball resulting in two tries for the All black  with Cody Vai and Rokosiloa crossing the line to put the game beyond the reach of Kenya
