KCB skipper Peter Waitere has attributed their Impala Floodlit win to experience and team cohesion.
KCB bagged their fourth consecutive Floodlit title on Saturday with a hard-fought 20-3 win over Nondies on Saturday.
The bankers outscored Nondies 2-0 but were made to fight all the way by a resilient Jamhuri Park-based outfit in a hard-fought match.
Waitere said his side showed a lot of maturity in the final. "Our experience and never-say-die attitude carried the day for us. We did not play well in the first half but we changed tact in the second and when the opportunities came, we capitalised on them to win,” added Waitere.

"The character we showed will hold us in good stead for the upcoming season and the boys will be fired up,” added Chenge.
On their part, Nondies coach Oliver Callum admitted making several mistakes in the encounter.
"We missed three penalties and our decision-making in the KCB 22 was poor. We were solid for 70 minutes but as you know, the game is 80 minutes and we could not sustain the intensity until the end," he admitted.
Skipper Steve Odhiambo said this being a young Nondies squad, they will learn from the final and improve as they start life in the championship.
“This will help us in the long run. We want to come back to the top tier of Kenyan rugby next season and I believe we will be better going forward," he noted.
KCB led at the interval courtesy of a penalty by Issac Njoroge in an error-strewn first half with Nondies defending resolutely for long spells. Nondies leveled matters in the second half courtesy of Ben Salem.
Prop Curtis Lilako and veteran Andrew Amonde scored two late tries via a maul with Isaac Njoroge converting both and Levi Amunga adding a late penalty. Menengai Oilers finished third with a 23-12 win over Blak Blad.
Nakuru Universities combined claimed the Universities title after beating United States International University 45-22 in the final.
