Otuke, on his part, fired a 37 in the front nine and repeated the score in the back nine to settle for second position. On his way up Snow made four birdies in holes 3, 7, 13, and 15 and parred holes 2, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, and 18.

The pre-event activities started on Sunday with a junior competition of Royal juniors and invited juniors.
Monday was a day set aside for tree planting day followed by a caddies’ competition. Besides the pros competition on Wednesday, members also played a club night as a precursor to the main Chairman’s event at the weekend.
Handicap 4 Geoffrey Opiyo with a gross total of 75 emerged the winner in the caddies category. The series of events are being held to celebrate Royal Chairman Jatinder Thethy whose term of office ends in the next three weeks.
Chairman Thethy said: “The essence of the tree planting exercise is to increase the resilience of ecosystems, help minimise climate change effects, and help the country adapt to changing conditions.”
