Raila to attend Super League match at Gusii Stadium

Entry into the Gusii Stadium will be free after Raila promised to take care of Shabana's match expenses and will give the team the projected income they were to get from ticket sales.

Opposition leader Raila Odinga is among the dignitaries expected to grace the Super League match pitting Shaban FC against Kibera Black Stars at Gusii Stadium on Saturday.

Promotion-chasing Shabana leads the second-tier league standings with 57 points-two points better off than second-placed Murang'a Seal who boast 55 points.

Raila will be in the company of Kisii County Governor Simba Arati.

The former Dagoretti North member of parliament is serving his first term as Kisii County Governor.

Two weeks ago, Raila and President William Ruto attended the Mashemeji Derby between Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards at the Nyayo Stadium.

On May 13, Raila also was at the Moi International Stadium, Kasarani for the Kipkeino Classic.
