In the meantime, striker Hillary Simiyu lauded their fans for their unwavering  support. He also urged them to flood Nyayo Stadium on Saturday to back the team.

He added that winning the cup motivates him to keep on scoring and helping the team advance to the next round.

“I would like to thank our fans who have been with us all along despite the ups and downs. I urge them to come and support us. Don’t tire from supporting us. We will display a great show in the match and I promise them they will enjoy,” Simiyu commented.
