Harambee Starlets head coach Godfrey Oduor has named a 33-member provisional squad for an international friendly against Albania in Tirana on April 11.

The squad, which is expected to report to camp on March 30, is a blend of in-form local-based players and their experienced foreign-based counterparts.

Oduor, who takes over from Alex Alumira, said the squad is about rebuilding since the Starlets have been in the cold for more than a year.

Alex Alumira had been appointed by the Football Kenya Federation Caretaker Committee to take charge of the team last year.

“We are happy to have the girls back. We want to start moving this team forward and it’s time to get back to work so that we can realise the immense potential of this team,” Oduor observed.

Cynthia Shilwatso (Kryvbas Women) and Esse Akida (FC Paok) also made the squad. Kenya One Annedy Kundu (Rea Women FC) and Lilian Awuor (ASL Soyaux Charente) are the overseas goalkeepers in the squad.
