Ulinzi Starlets will not underrate Soccer Sisters in the Football Kenya Federation Women's Cup round of 16 set for next month, coach Joseph Mwanza has said.

The two sides booked a date following the draw in Tuesday's match.

Mwanza said Soccer Sisters is a worthy opponent since they have eliminated quality opposition prior to reaching this stage.

"We want to qualify for the quarter-finals and therefore we cannot afford to underestimate our rivals. They are not at this level because of luck but they deserve to play. They have proven equal to the task  and we will treat them like any other team."

Ulinzi are the Women's Cup defending champions, having won the title in 2021.

"We are under no pressure to defend the title. We need to qualify for the next round first. We will take one game at a time," Mwanza added.

Other matches will see Royal Starlets take on Eldoret Falcons as Mombasa Olympic tackle Kisumu All Starlets. Vihiga Queens settle scores with Kisped Queens, Thika Queens entertain Zetech Sparks, and Nakuru City Queens rub shoulders with Gaspo Women.

Former Women's Premier League side Kibera Soccer will square it out with Falling Waters while Kahawa Queens will play Fortune Ladies.
