On Tuesday, head coach Benjamin Musa named a team of seven male and three female boxers for the tournament.

They include Dennis Muiya, Wycliffe Chesire, Joseph Karumba, Diouf Muimi, Joshua Cliff, Douglas Muya and Francis Ogeta in the men's team while the women's trio has Jane Wangari, Faith Nafuna and Juliet Akinyi.
