KBF cancels all weekend Premier League matches

Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) has canceled all league matches for this weekend.

Competitions secretary Joseph Amoko they have instead planned for a meeting between the stakeholders. 

The meeting is planned for Sunday, November 20 at the Ulinzi Sports Complex from 2 pm. 

"Following the recent happenings, we have planned for a joint meeting for NEC, team manager, coaches and referees,"  KBF said in a statement.

The items on the agenda include the roles and responsibilities of each party, conflict resolution methods and the way forward. 

The moderators are former KBF secretary Vitalis Gode and Kenya Basketball Referee Association (Kibra) chairman Fred Awuor. 

All teams have been asked to attend. The league games will continue next weekend.
