Comedian Eric Omondi has called out local music promoters inviting foreign artistes.
This is after a female South African disc jockey was left stranded with a huge bill to foot.
Omondi said promoters are painting a bad image to foreigners about Kenya with their unprofessional behaviour.
"DJ Chichi has been stuck here for weeks now with bills amounting to over Sh200,000 after a Kenyan promoter brought her here and ghosted her and left her without pay, accommodation or an air ticket," Omondi wrote.
"This is my order to all promoters in this country! Do not, and I repeat, do not invite any more foreign artistes."
Those who commented said if any promoter can't afford to pay a creative they should not hire them.
