Zanzibar artiste Fany says Genge musician Jua Cali inspired him to pursue a music career.
"I am looking forward to that day when I will meet him and work with him as well," Fany told Word Is on Thursday.
"I have been listening to his music since I was young, and his flow of music is what made me venture into music."
Fany is in Kenya on a media tour to promote his new collabo with G Nako, 'Weka', which has taken the airwaves by storm. G Nako, a songwriter, stylist/designer and recording hip hop artiste is also the co-founder and owner of Weusi Company and Weusi Hip Hop group.
Other Kenyan artistes Fany is looking forward to working with include Nyashinski and Otile Brown.
