The Johnnie Walker GP Karting championship — Kenya Racing Festival — came to an end on Saturday, with SIM-U Nation emerging the winners.

The team won the coveted ticket to Yas Marina Circuit to witness the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2019. The race took place at Whistling Moran, Athi River.

Only 20 teams made it to the finals, each made of four racers. At the end, Team Sim-U-Nation, which comprises Steve Muriuki, Ed Behr, Sam Karangatha and Wessel Van Djick, emerged the winner.

An afterparty ensued, featuring Nviiri the Storyteller, Ben Soul and legendary musician Nameless. Hype MC and radio presenter Shaffie Weru hosted the event.
