The scholarship fund is the flagship project of the Rotary Club of Milimani. Every year, they host a charity golf tournament to fundraise in order to be able to send a select group of beneficiaries to school through their secondary and vocational training scholarships.
In the past, beneficiaries have attended top national schools including Alliance, Starehe Boys and Girls, State House Girls and Precious Blood.
This year, the golf day was held on Friday at the Royal Nairobi Club. A cocktail and prize giving ceremony followed thereafter.
Present were ICT permanent secretary Sammy Itemere and CAK legal director John Ommo.
