Sukari Ranch at Peponi School, Ruiru was the venue for the 2016 Hog Charge that was held on Sunday.
The event is usually held on the last weekend of January with the objective of raising funds for the Rhino Ark Charitable Trust, via the participation of Hog Charge Team (Car 35) in the Annual Rhino Charge.
After a fantastic and thrilling obstacle race, the amount raised was slightly over Sh3.6million. With participants usually being young kids, the event is also aimed at encouraging school children to get involved in conservation fund raising to save the environment.
Present were Nedbank Group enterprise risk and compliance head Anne Gatonye, East Africa Motor Sports treasurer Chege Waithaka, Car No 35's Mark and Sallie Tilbury.
