Eighteen years in the business, and still maintaining its dominant position as a leading media house in Kenya, East FM underwent a grand transformation.
On Saturday morning, East FM Energized was launched at an elaborate breakfast at the Villa Rosa Kempinski. Well wishers and esteemed clients joined in to celebrate the new, re-vamped station that has more to offer and remarkable new voices on air.
In the new line up, Riya and Vikash will kick start your day with Sunny Side Up, followed by music of the golden era with Parveen Adam. Kamal Kaur stays on Dil Chahta Hai, after which the dynamic duo of Seema Sarkar Manji and newbie Irfan Kassam take you through rush hour on The Ignition. To conclude your day, Raabia Hawa hosts Citylights. The weekends are looking even better with several new shows and fresh-line ups so stay tuned!
The East FM team was joined by chairman Sudhir Vidyarthi, vice chairman Piyush Shah, operations director Jasmine Postwalla and her assistant Aleema Noormohamed. They were joined by the team from Radio Africa Group led by CEO Patrick Quarcoo and chief marketing officer Caroline Mutoko.
Also present during the relaunch were I&M Bank marketing manager Christine Aludo, Basco Products head of marketing Altaf Jiwa, Longhorn Capital Investments MD King’ori Muito and KCB brand manager Gitau Muraguri.
