It was an 8am reporting call at the Karura Forest on Sunday for the annual walk-a-thon organised by Baps Charities. This year’s theme was ‘Don’t destroy the greenery and don’t spoil the scenery. Save Mother Earth and Plant a Tree’.
The chilly morning did not deter participants of all ages from taking part in the walk that even saw regulars at the forest track, join in and lend their support making it a huge success.
Baps Charities was able to set up a strong sub-structure for their upcoming environmental projects which play a major part of the Asian Community.
