Here is how to prepare spinach and potato puree for a patient.

Ingredients 

  • Three medium potatoes 
  • Four spinach leaves
  • Water
  • Milk  

Preparation 

Step 1

Peel and wash the potatoes and cut them into quarters.

Step 2

Boil the potatoes in unsalted enough water until tender.

Step 3

Wash and cut the spinach leaves then steam them over boiling potatoes.

Step 4 

When the potatoes are ready, drain the remaining water and mash them.

Step 5 

Add half a cup of milk and mix well.

Step 6 

Blend the steamed spinach leaves then add to the mashed potatoes and mix well. 

Step 7 

Serve on a clean plate and feed your patient when warm.
