Students in breach of the Grade 6 Competence-Based Curriculum examinations code will face similar penalties accorded to KCPE and KCSE candidates.

The pioneer class will sit their national exams in November.

For instance, any candidate who engages in exam malpractice will have the affected subject results cancelled.

"Any person who wilfully or maliciously damages examination material will be subjected to imprisonment not exceeding five years or fine of Sh5 million," the timetable reads.

Persons found attempting to impersonate learners will be liable to imprisonment of two years or fine of Sh2 million.

This will be the end of primary school-based assessment.

The longest paper, Creative Arts and Social Studies, will be administered for one hour and 40 minutes.

The timetable, released by Kenya National Examinations Council, reveals that the exams will be conducted in three days.

"Ensure that your name and assessment number have been written and correctly crossed in the answer sheet," the timetable reads.

The students will start with Mathematics at 8.30am and English at 10.50am.

"Mathematics will take 1hr 20 minutes and English will take 1 hour," the timetable reads.

On the second day the learners will sit integrated science which takes 1hr 40 minutes and Kiswahili for one hour.

On the final day, November 30, learners will sit Creative Arts and Social sciences.

The paper also takes 1hr 40 minutes and will be administered in the morning.

More than 1.5 million learners are expected to sit the Grade six assessment this year.

At the same time KNEC will be administering two other exams-2022 KCPE and KCSE.

Registration for the exams ended on Saturday.
