Liver as a detox organ

Abstaining entirely from alcohol is one of the best ways to keep your body’s detoxification system running strong.

  • Avoid or limit the intake of fatty foods and added sugars.

Some veggies and drinks have potent antioxidant capabilities that support the liver's health and function.

These include green tea, red cabbage, beets, vegetable salads, and smoothies (cucumber, carrots, spinach and avocado.)
