Seven counties are set to face scheduled power interruptions on Wednesday, Kenya Power has announced.
Kenya Power said the interruption is to allow for system maintenance.
Parts of Nairobi, Kakamega, Bungoma, Homa Bay, Nyeri, Murang'a and Isiolo counties form part of the listed areas.
The areas will have power interruptions at diverse times from 8 am to 5 pm.
Nairobi
Parts of Nairobi will experience power interruptions from 9 am to 5 pm.
The areas include Ngong View East, The Hub, Tree Lane, Part of Windy Ridge, D.O.D Westwood, Kerarapon Road and Part of Ngong Road.
Kakamega
Areas in Kakamega to experience power interruptions from 9 am to 5 pm include Muhila Hospital, Muhila School, Mujiti Market, Ekonjero Market, Emurumba Market and adjacent customers.
Bungoma
The areas are set to experience power disruption from 9 am to 5 pm.
They are Miendo, Matisi Water, Matisi Market, Miendo, Kiboochi, Bokoli Market, Namawanga, Machakha, Malokho, Samita, Bukembe Market, Misanga, Lukuku and Chenjeni.
Homa Bay
Parts of Homa Bay will have power cuts from 9 am to 4 pm.
The areas include Rangwe, Nyauu, Asumbi Complex, Koyoo, Namba, Nyawita, Sinogo, Pala Masogo, Oluso, Nyambare, Rabango, Orego, Nyandiwa and Wangapala Kolielo.
At the same time, areas including Uozi, Siambi, Mulundu, Ogina, Soklo, Katimba, Yokia and Nyakwiri will experience power cuts.
Nyeri
Areas in Nyeri will experience power interruption from 8 am to 5 pm.
They include Karura Market, Karura Coffee Fact, Karura Primary School, Eng. Maina area, Gathumbi Village, Part of Unjiru Village, Ngari Junior Village, Ragati Primary School, Ragati Secondary School, Iharu Village, Gikumbo Market, Kiandara Village, Gathambo TBC, Gaturumo-Ini TBC, Kiamigwi Village, Shauri Moyo, Kihuro Village, Gaikuyu Market, Magutu Secondary School and Safaricom & Airtel Boosters.
Murang'a
The areas will have power cuts from 8 am to 5 pm.
They are Karungangi, Gikono, AAA Growers, Gakuyo East, Pro Gas, Shalimah Farm, Mukeu Farm, Montezuma Mortuary, Makindi Farm, Tosheka Village, Methi, Kabati Market, Ken Matiba Hospital and Makenji.
Isiolo
Areas in Isiolo will have power interruptions from 8 am to 5 pm.
They are Kona Mbaya, Maili Saba, BBC, Maili Tano, Royal Acacia, Range Lands, Africa Eco, Red Cross, Canaan, Mugae, Harkrishina, Meru Wood, Isico, Ndunyuruma, Colourful World, Bula Mpya, Olajarole, Pepo La Tumaini, Kambi Odha, Isiolo Livestock Mkt, Kambi Garba Islamic Sch, Part of Nagele and Kambi Garba Catholic Mission.
Other areas in Isiolo are Kambi Turkana, School of Artillery, Elboran Resort, Tractor, Kiwanja, Attan Primary Sch, Ngaremara Market, Ngaremara Catholic Mission, Manyatta Zebra, School of Military Engineering, Sarova Shamba, Whole of Archers Post, Safaricom BTS Archers, Kalama Centre, Lerata, Lengusaka, Sionta, Safaricom BTS Wamba, Whole of Wamba, LKSIN, Swari and Londokwe.
