An advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Gachui Kariuki, wants President William Ruto and Azimio Party leader Raila Odinga to put their differences aside and work together for the benefit of the country.
Speaking during an interview on NTV on Friday, Kariuki said that the two leaders ought to speak with one voice.
"It is upon them to call this dialogue to order and ensure that the leaders fall in line," she said.
She added that the duo have been given sovereign powers by the people who they represent and they need to make decisions on their behalf. Failure to which might lead to people taking power into their own hands according to Kariuki.
"We can have conversations among ourselves, dialogue amongst ourselves, and chart a way forward for ourselves," she posed.
Kariuki expressed confidence that the ongoing bi-partisan talks will be successful. This she said will help find a lasting solution to the current situation.
