Rains to continue in parts of the country - Met

The Kenya Meteorological Department has given details of the expected weather conditions for the next seven days.  

The Met Department on Tuesday said that rainfall is set to continue over some parts of the country. 

The regions expected to continue receiving rainfall this week are the Central Highlands, Western Kenya, Lake Victoria Basin, East and West of the Rift Valley and Coastal regions. 

"The rest of the country is likely to be generally dry," the weatherman said. 

Additionally, average maximum daytime temperatures will be moderate ranging between  20 degrees and 30 degrees. 

The weatherman said these temperatures will be experienced over most parts of the country.

While some parts of Northeastern and North-western Kenya will receive average minimum night-time temperatures of more than 20 degrees.

Met department said Nairobi will experience cloudy and sunny intervals on Tuesday. 

While temperatures will range between 14 degrees and a maximum 24.
