President William Ruto has arrived in Nyamira county ahead of his three day visit to the South Nyanza region.
He arrived at approximately 4:50pm, and was received by the local leaders led by the governor of Nyamira county John Nyagarama.
He is expected to commission the construction of the Gekano-Rigoma-Amabuko Road and launch the Sironga Housing Project, West Mugirango Constituency.
Already, the President has launched several projects in and outside Nairobi.

On Friday, the President will return to Nyamira for the second time to commission the construction of Gamba-Kegogi Road.
He will then proceed to Ritacho Primary School in Nyaribari Masaba constituency to grace the homecoming ceremony of his Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu.
On Saturday morning, the President will hold a leaders' meeting at the Kisii State Lodge before departing Kisii for a day-long tour of Migori.
