Water vs stones affair as Azimio supporters and police clash

Azimio La Umoja supporters retaliated after police sprayed water at them while Raila Odinga was addressing the masses along Juja road. 

It all started when the police sprayed water on them and one threw a big stone towards the water canon.

The exchange continued for about 15 minutes 

Raila's convoy is making its second attempt to access the CBD via Juja Road after he was blocked by the police. 

The Azimio brigade is currently addressing supporters along Juja road as they try to get to the CBD and then KICC.

While along Juja Road, the police used water canons to try disperse the protestors and Raila's convoy. Police also lobbed teargas.  

After dramatically leaving the Serena Hotel, the convoy went through Kamukunji, before arriving at Eastleigh. 

While at Eastleigh, he addressed his supporters saying the struggle will continue until their demands are met. 

Supporters were singing and dancing to the tune of a song dedicated to Raila, as they manoeuvred Nairobi.

"Ya Baba! Jeshi ya Baba!" 

"Mambo bado, ndio tumeanza," he said while supporters were chanting 'Ndio Baba!'
