Jubilee party secretary general Jeremiah Kioni has said the party's caucus in Kirinyaga county is still fully in the Azimio camp amidst apparent defections by some members.

Speaking after meeting members of the caucus on Wednesday, Kioni said the group is ready for Azimio's planned people's rally in the county.

"Kirinyaga Jubilee Leaders Caucus have affirmed their loyalty and commitment to Azimio. They are ready for the region's People Baraza," Kioni said.

He said the burden of punitive taxes continues to make life unbearable for Kenyans and is turning many hustlers into sufferers.

According to the former Ndaragwa MP, Azimio will form a Njaa Movement as part of the revolution in their upcoming rallies.

While commenting on the Jubilee MPs' visit to State House, Kioni said disciplinary action has been initiated against them.

He dismissed the State House meeting saying the MPs in attendance have never been part of the Azimio rallies and their exit will not affect their activities.

"Those MPs in the State House meeting have never attended our rallies. That does not in any way affect our activities. We will, however, deal with the issue with our internal party structures," he said during an interview with a local publication.
