President William Ruto has arrived in Embakasi for the 58th Administration Police Passing out Parade.
This is the second lot of police to graduate, that the president will be presiding over.
On Tuesday, Ruto presided over the police recruits pass out at National Police College-Main Campus, Kiganjo.
It was the first event for Ruto to preside over since he became the president.
The president said none of the newly recruited police officers should use their money to buy uniforms.
"I do not expect what has been happening in the past to repeat itself," he said during the Tuesday event.
"These officers have been going to look for uniforms and buying them with their own money in all manner of places"
He said each officer will get their requisite uniform, which he expects to be of good quality that meet the standard.
More than 5,000 police graduates are set to be released to service after a nine-month of training at various National Police Service training colleges.e new recruits will be required to remain in the service for at least 10 years before leaving.
A Sh1.2 million fine will be imposed on anyone who flouts the new rule.
Officials said the amount would be commensurate with the investment made by the government on a recruit.

The service has in the past three years been losing about 2,000 officers yearly.
