Former Raila Odinga’s chief agent Saitabao Ole Kanchory has vowed to reveal individuals he termed as traitors who bungled Raila's presidential bid.
Kanchory claims he has details on why Odinga failed to clinch the seat after his fifth attempt.
In a telling note, the lawyer suggests that there were betrayals and deceptions which ‘killed’ the hopes of their supporters and Kenyans at large.
“Why baba is not the fifth... All you need to know about the betrayal, deception and intrigues that destroyed the hopes of a nation and broke the hearts of millions,” he wrote.
Kanchory states that it is only the truth that will “set us free” adding that traitors will be exposed.
This is not the first time the lawyer is sensationally making public the claims surrounding the August 9 general election.
While appearing for an interview in one of the local radio stations, Kanchory alleged that some individuals within the Azimio la umoja camp sabotaged the whole process and were to blame for the loss.
He claimed there was confusion on the list of agents Azimio leaders presented to guard Odinga’s votes in polling stations across the country leading to the process failing.
“We had so many interests in the selection of agents because of the nature of the coalition," Kanchori said during the interview.
"At the last minute, we had different parties bringing in different lists of agents."
