Kenya and South Africa have signed an agreement on audio -visual co-production for artistes in the two countries. 

Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Sports and Arts Ababu Namwamba made the announcement on Thursday following a joint session with South African minister. 

"Our two Presidents, William Ruto and Cyril Ramaphosa witnessed the historic agreement," he said.

The agreement was signed by Kenya's CS and South African Minister for Arts and Culture Nkosinathi Emmanuel Mthethwa. 

The CS said artistes from the two countries will work together in film and music. 

"Our artistes will collaborate in wide ranging artistic productions, including film, music and sharing of skills & filming scenes," he said.
