Raila edges Ruto in Galole

ODM leader Raila Odinga has edged out Deputy President William Ruto in Galole constituency, Tana River county.

Raila gathered 16,744 votes against Ruto's 11,566.

The IEBC made the announcement after they verified the results.

George Wajackoyah of Roots came in third with 160 votes while Agano's David Mwaure garnered 109 votes.

The registered voters were 39,979 with the valid votes at 28,579.

There were 436 rejected ballots.
