Outgoing Deputy President William Ruto has garnered 35,690 votes in the Ol-Kalou constituency in Nyandarua.

The UDA presidential candidate beat his fiercest rival Azimio's Raila Odinga who had 11,202 votes.

George Wajackoyah got 232 votes while Agano's David Mwaure got 187 votes.

IEBC Commissioner Francis Wanderi said the area had 72,997 voters but only 47,311 people cast their votes.

The rejected votes were 283 votes.
