

The image highlights the general savings habits of working Kenyans, excluding pension savings.
It shows that 41 per cent say they always save less than 10 per cent of their income every month, while 27 per cent report saving less than 10–30 per cent monthly.
Another 24 per cent save only when they have leftover amounts after expenses.
Six per cent say they do not save at all, and only 2 per cent state they always save more than 30 per cent of their income every month.
