    The China International Import Expo (CIIE) is an annual trade fair held in Shanghai since 2018.

    It stands out as the world's first import-themed national-level expo, co-hosted by China's Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal Government.

    The event features exhibitions from multiple countries and businesses, aiming to promote China's domestic market to foreign firms and boost domestic consumption.

    The 2025 edition marked the event's 8th year, opening on November 5 for a 6-day run.

    This 8th CIIE was a large-scale event, including 155 countries, regions, and international organizations, and featured 4,108 overseas exhibitors. During the expo, participants displayed a significant number of new offerings, including 461 new products, technologies & services.

    The inaugural 2018 edition was opened by Chinese President Xi Jinping.
