    In a major announcement, China pledged $10 million in support to UN Women and a further $100 million via the South-South Cooperation Fund.

    During the meeting, the Global Centre for Women's Capacity Building was also launched at China Women's University. Among the attendees was Charlotte Songue, interviewed by Xinhua on women's rights in the DRC.

    The event underscored the ongoing international commitment to advancing gender equality and empowering women across the globe.
