

A report by Nguvu Collective has highlighted what women and girls choose in general and what features they consider important in sanitary pads.
According to the report launched on April 6, 2025, out of 9480 responses, 53 per cent mentioned absorbency as an important factor in sanitary pads, followed by 48 per cent who mentioned comfort, 44 per cent who chose skin sensitivity among others.
The remaining few chose eco-friendliness, size and fit, adhesiveness, ease of use,
durability, odour control and packaging as important factors
