Raila basks in BBI glory as he joins Uhuru on US trip

ODM leader Raila Odinga appears to be reaping big from his handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta, with major international recognition that could give him a boost in 2022.

Raila, who flew to the US on Sunday evening, was to be joined by his 'brother' Uhuru to market the handshake.

 


Tiny lump that changed my life

A tiny lump on her right breast is all it took to turn Dionisia Mugo's life around and also separate her friends.

Her confidants had assured her that the lump was too small to amount to anything. So she ignored it until August 2018 when, during a routine check-up, a scan of the lump was done and the doctor recommended a biopsy.

 


Court blocks construction of 35-storey Cytonn Towers

The Nairobi city government has the power to stop – at any point – the construction of a building that is in breach of legal requirements, a court has ruled.

The county, Judge John Mativo said last week, did not abuse powers when it revoked the approval given to Cytonn Investments to build a Sh20 billion tower in Kilimani.


Coronavirus: Kenya gets test kits, to send no more samples to SA

Kenya will no longer need to send samples to South Africa for coronavirus tests. 

The World Health Organization says it is sending diagnostic kits and reagents to Kenya this week, to boost the country's capacity to make definitive tests.

 


Ruto shifts to allies' CDF projects, Uhuru implies he's hyena

Embattled DP William Ruto has resorted to launching projects initiated by his own Tangatanga MPs after an onslaught by President Uhuru Kenyatta who refused to let him launch national ventures and indirectly called him a hyena.

He has consistently been doing so, in an unmistakable campaign drive, despite repeated warnings from his boss.
