Police are investigating several incidents involving fatalities across different counties.

In Aram, Rarieda, Siaya County, a boda boda rider, identified as George Ouma, 28, was found dead on Wednesday.

Police said his body had stab wounds and that he had reportedly been attacked after picking up pillion passengers and heading towards Lwak.

The body was taken to a mortuary pending an autopsy and further investigations.

Authorities noted that attacks on boda boda riders have been increasing in both urban and rural areas.

In Nyeri Town, the body of 26-year-old Peter Migwi Wangechi was discovered behind Naivas supermarket. Police said he had been assaulted by an unknown suspect, who was later arrested.

The body was moved to a mortuary pending autopsy and investigation.

In Chepkuma, Nandi County, a man who had been reportedly assaulted on November 19 died ten days later.

Police confirmed that an investigation is ongoing and that they are searching for those involved.

In Narok County, the body of 50-year-old Amos Makangaya Indakwa was found at his home.

Police reported that the body showed signs of injury, including a cut on the foot, swelling, and bleeding from the nose.

Authorities said he may have been assaulted elsewhere before being found at the house.

The motive remains under investigation, and the body was taken to the mortuary for an autopsy.

In Myanga, Bungoma County, a 15-year-old girl was found floating in River Mayanja on Thursday evening in Tabula C village.

Police said there were no visible injuries, and the body has been taken to the mortuary pending autopsy and identification.

In Kowidi, Rachuonyo, Homa Bay County, a 27-year-old man, Peter Obala, was killed by residents after reportedly assaulting a neighbour amid a personal dispute.

Police confirmed that the body was set on fire by the community.

Authorities are investigating the incident, and the body was moved to the mortuary for autopsy.
