With the governor steadily gaining popularity among residents, the tide appears to have turned against the ward representatives who were vocal in their opposition. Sources indicate that a number of the lawmakers are already facing hostility and growing resistance in their respective wards—early signs that their re-election bids may be in jeopardy. A group of the lawmakers were overheard crying foul how they are finding it increasingly difficult to reconnect with voters ahead of the 2027 elections.
