Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has said that the Kenya Kwanza administration will continue working with the church, to develop a better country for future generations.

Speaking on Sunday, Gachagua said the President William Ruto-led administration recognizes the church in the country’s social and economic development.

“We will continue to work with the Church in building an advanced and developed country for the good of the present and future generations,” the DP said.

He had attended a church service at the ACK St Francis Ciamanda Church in Runyenjes, Embu, for a thanksgiving service for Technical and Vocational Education Training Principal Secretary Esther Mworia.

During his address, the DP noted that the move by the current administration to expand Technical and Vocational Education Training programs has seen thousands of youths gain crucial skills for the betterment of their lives.

Gachagua was accompanied by Head of Public Service Felix Koskei, Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire, Embu Senator Alex Mundigi, and Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei.

Others were Members of the National Assembly Muchangi Karemba (Runyenjes), Nebart Muriuki (Mbeere South), Mukunji Gitonga (Manyatta), Geoffrey Ruku (Mbeere North), Pamela Njoki (Embu County), Onesmus Ngogoyo (Kajiado North), Benjamin Gathiru MejjaDonk (Embakasi Central), and Naomi Waqo (Marsabit County MP), were also present.

Principal Secretaries Alex Wachira (Energy), Gitonga Mugambi (Forestry), Joseph Mbugua, (Roads), Muthoni Njagi (Blue Economy), James Muhati (Economic Planning), Edward Kisiangani (Broadcasting and Telecommunications), Ephantus Kimotho (Irrigation), Kyeni South MCA Barnabas Njama, also accompanied the Deputy President among others.
