President William Ruto has asked Opposition leader Raila Odinga to refrain from chaotic demos and prepare to face him at the ballot again in 2027.

While speaking in Kisii on Friday, Ruto told off Raila over his continuous attempts to frustrate the government, saying there is no room for chaos.

"Stop your arrogance and stop wasting my time. Let us meet in 2027 and I will defeat again," Ruto said.

Ruto added that he has started making plans for re-election to an extent that Raila, if not careful, may even lack an agent at the election.

"Mimi nimejipanga my friend na ukicheza utakosa hadi agent," he said.

(I have prepared myself well my friend and if you are not careful you might even lack an agent)

The President further challenged the Azimio la Umoja Coalition leader to face him in person instead of destroying property belonging to ordinary Kenyans.

"Stop the arrogance. What are you asking touts, mama mboga and business people? If you want me, face me instead of destroying property through demos."

Ruto had earlier said that if Raila has a problem with the IEBC servers, he should go look for them.

"I want to tell Raila to stop disturbing Kenyans. If you have a problem with a whistle-blower and the server go find it."

Raila has listed the opening of IEBC servers among the demands that must be met for him to call off mass action which he said on Tuesday will now be held on Mondays and Thursdays.

He said he wants a forensic audit of the servers conducted to ascertain who won the August 9 election.

On Thursday, Raila and his allies said all they want is the truth about the elections and dismissed calls by the clergy for him to hold talks with President William Ruto.

The Opposition has also been calling on Ruto to lower the cost of living and halt the hiring process process of IEBC Commissioners which it said is being handled singlehandedly by Ruto.

Raila has also called on Ruto to resign and hand over the presidency to him claiming he won the election and is the rightful holder of the office.

Raila insists his victory was stolen with the help of former IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati.
