Nandi governor Stephen has issued a stern warning to the newly appointed Chief officers and heads of departments over laxity and poor service deliveries.
Sang said during his first term, he was lenient and didn’t dismiss any of his top officers, however, in his second term in office, heads would roll if he detects any weaknesses in their duties.
Governor Sang spoke when he presided over the swearing-in of Ms Rose Eboso Angira as a county executive member for gender, youth and social welfare and Amos Magut as County Attorney.
Sang and presided over the signing of contracts for 10 new chief officers among them Dr Paul Sanga-Agriculture, livestock and fisheries and David Koech-Transport and fracture, both are former MCAs.
Others are Fredrick Kiptum-Health and sanitation, Carol Chemurgor-Tourism, Prisca Jepchirchir-Finance, Caroline Chepchirchir-Co-operative development, Joseph Kipchumba- Education, Benjamin Kiprotich-Trade, Stephen Misoi-ICT.
Angira was the immediate senior principal of Our Lady of peace secondary school- Muhoroni in Kisumu county.
She holds BA in Education from Kenyatta University and a Master's in leadership and policy analysis from Moi University.
Sang had appointed Nine CECMs to his cabinet and the entry of Mrs Angira brings to 10 the number of executive members.
