Barely seven months into office majority of Kenyans believe the country is headed in the wrong direction.
A survey conducted by InfoTrack has revealed that 62 per cent of Kenyans hold this view.
From the survey, only 22 per cent believe the country is headed in the right direction.
However, 15 per cent could not state whether Kenya is on the right direction or not.
The survey was conducted between February 21 to February 24 where 2149 respondents were across 8 regions across the 47 counties.
The poll had a +/- 2.1 margin of error.
High cost of living was highly mentioned as the reason the country is headed the wrong direction at 73 per cent.
High taxes imposed to people (5%), unemployment (5%), poor governance (4%), bad politics (3%) and poverty were also mentioned (3%).
