Ex-PS Susan Koech to be vetted for CBK deputy governor post

Speaker Wetang'ula sent the name for review following her nomination by the President.

Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetang'ula on Wednesday forwarded the name of former East African Community Principal Secretary Susan Koech to parliament for consideration as Deputy Central Bank Governor.

This is after President William Ruto nominated Koech for the post.

Wetang'ula conveyed the message during Wednesday's sitting.

"I wish to report to the House that I have received a message from President William Ruto regarding the nomination of Susan Koech for appointment as the deputy governor of CBK, the president seeks the approval of Parliament on the said nomination," he said.
