A section of travellers heading to the United States of America has expressed their frustrations after Kenyan Airways allegedly cancelled their flights without informing them.

Speaking to the Star, more than 200 passengers who were travelling to the US after a long holiday say some of them were supposed to report to work by Saturday.

"All our luggage had been checked but unfortunately our flights were cancelled abruptly and now we are stranded with nothing to use," said Florence Nanjala.

According to Nanjala, they have tried to get answers from the top management but nothing has been forthcoming.

Nanjala lamented that she was supposed to be at work in a few hours time.

She told the Star that some passengers were taken to Weston Hotel along Lang'ata Road.

According to her, they were supposed to leave by 6am on Friday.

Attempts to reach out to Kenya Airways for a comment on the matter were futile as they did not pick up our calls.

We pledge to give their side of the story once we access them.
