Singing heroes at Bomas was the name they were branded on August 15, 2022, when news broke out that UDA’s presidential candidate William Ruto had won the presidential elections.

Five months down the line, the choir makes a comeback on the media screens in the last event that Wafula Chebukati will grace as IEBC chairperson.

Dressed in black attire with an element of red, the choir entertained guests at Safari Park on Monday morning ahead of the launch of the 2022 Post-Election Evaluation Report.

On August 15 Kenyans and interested observers from abroad were glued to their screens watching and waiting to know who would succeed the then President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The choir never stopped singing amid the chaos and disruptions which were witnessed at Bomas.

The presidential winner announcement was to be made at 11 but later pushed to 2 pm and eventually pushed to an unknown time.

Despite the delay,  the choir proved they had been prepared for the task, they simply pulled another song from their catalogue and continued to manage the tension.
